Luckily I subscribe to a wonderful service that puts together wonderful little style guides. I don’t put these out every week (or even every month) so I have a bit of a backlog. So it turns out I suck at daily blogging. So while I will continue my 365 project I will do it in private!

I was lucky enough to meet this sweet baby boy and his brother and sister just days after he was born. I was also lucky enough to photograph his big brother right after he was born! Jackson was such a sweet boy and hardly made a peep while I photographed him!

I am starting with a family picture because family is really what it is all about!

I love this image, it makes me wonder what big thoughts must be occuring in that tiny head.

365 Project. Days 13-24 (I think)

So much has happened since my computer broke. Maielle started gymnastics, Devlynn chose a Jr. High, I shot an ad campaign and I finished the Lacroix family year book for 2012! I will give you a re-cap with each photo (or at least try to).

We let Dee wear make-up out of the house for the first time, and this is what she chose (I like how the finger print smudges on my lens give it a soft glow, lol)!

Here is Conni multi-tasking while we get ready for the “Rock Your Camera” workshop. It is possible she will kill me when she sees this.

Maielle started Gymnastics, got a foot stamp and threw the saddest temper tantrum, all in one day!

Conni Helped me clean the house for heart of the image (I don’t think it has ever looked so clean)!

We got to play in the snow, lots of snow!

And Devlynn modeled t-shirts! This is her ANTM jump!!!

I may have missed a few days in there, but I think I am mostly caught up. I will post a picture of the Lacroix family book layouts tomorrow!

Looking Back {Edmonton wedding photographer}

My home computer bit the dust in the middle of our Heart Of the Image workshop (which was awsome btw), and I am not one of those people who enjoy typing or editing on a laptop so until the home computer is back here and running well I think I will save the 365 project in the camera! I have shot some great stuff in the past week both personal images and client, but those pictures will have to wait as I look back at some of my favorite wedding images that I have here in the pictures gallery of my laptop!

Today I am focusing on Dave and Courtney’s super awesome airport themed wedding.

I really love the layers in both of these getting ready shots!

This guys were up for just about anything, we did all their portraits before the wedding and hit up locations like the airport and the wildrose brewery.

You wouldn’t believe how difficult it was to clear off these bar stools. Guys really like their beer!

I love a couple that does cocktails before their sunset ceremony, we headed that direction next.

365 Project. Day 12 – Gryphon

I just dropped of Devlynn’s admissions package to Victoria school for the arts and now we wait to see if we have been chosen for an interview. For the admission Dee and I both needed to write a letter to the school explaining why she should be chosen. We also decided to include a photograph of an art project she had done. Here is the photograph we submitted. Cross your fingers for us!

Devlynn and I have been obsessed with nail stamping (if you are on my facebook you already know this). When I took this shot she already had an idea for an outfit in her mind, she was going to wear black and gray and her nails were going to be a “pop of colour”. That mission was accomplished!
